Easterfires
Every year there are many easterfires in Twente. But what are we celebrating?
At Easter we celebrate the opstanding of Jezus. At Easter we eat with family and friends. That's derived from the last dinner. During the last dinner, Jezus ate with his Friends, and told them that one of them will betray him. All of his friends said that they will never do that. But still has Judas betray him. Eating eggs is arise because in Spring there are born very much little animals. Easter is this year on Sunday, the 4th April. Everyone's welcome!
The easterfire starts at 20.30 pm. at 'Hulsbeek'.
